From the President's Desk - September 2020

We have postponed the Board of Trustee Election until October 6. There is a new law that took effect called the Radburn Law. Our elections followed the rules and regulations of our covenants and by-laws, but the Radburn Law supersedes our restrictions.  We had some extra mailing to do in order to meet the required time frames of this law and to repost a Call for Candidates since a one year residency requirement is no longer valid. Thanks to the extra work Fran and the election board are doing, the changes will be posted in the Sign Post and by mail.  I want to thank Fran Durino and Loretta Manfre for all the extra work they are doing to get us back on track again.

The pool lift chair will be installed soon. We can’t use it this year but hopefully next year. I want to thank Dave Scarpa for all the work he is doing and his patience to get the chair installed.

As you all know we were hit with a terrible storm that knocked down many trees and even went through a roof. We are lucky to have Dave Kirch and Jim Schugsta who have done a tremendous job coordinating the removal of all the downed trees. And a shout out for L&L Tree Service and JC Smith Landscaping for all the hard work they are doing for all of us. On the lighter side, we have some great people to cheer us up. We have Jim and Diane who started the line dancing again in the parking lot, and we have Bill Legregni in concert in the parking lot, too.

Also, check your Sign Post for all future activities from our other clubs. They are all volunteers and dedicated to making all our lives more enjoyable.

Tony Orsano, President

P.S.  We are still working on the HOPA reports  so please fill out the form and send it in if you didn’t yet.  Also if you did not get a robo call, we may not have your correct phone number.  Fill out the Emergency Contact Form with your correct homeowner telephone number, and we will check the number.  These calls are just for info about our community.
