From the President's Desk - May 2019

Here it is, the month of May. A lot of stuff is happening. Firstly, we are having the Election for the Trustees on May 14th, I want to wish them all well. I think they will all be beneficial to our community. We are also trying to grandfather in the living fences in the back yards. We hope this passes. The information is in this Sign Post.
Secondly, we are also voting on the new budget. We hope this passes. I want to thank the volunteers that worked diligently on the new budget. I want to thank Bill Molinaro for chairing the meetings and presenting the budget at a special meeting. The following members that put this budget together are: Bobbi Starkey, John Stevens, Pete Garvey, Jim Alexander and our treasurer Betty O'Brien.  We can never thank them enough for all the time and work they put into this project. I will always say we are a very lucky community for having such dedicated, hard-working, caring volunteers that are the (behind the scenes) backbone of our community.

Well, it’s Bocce time! Monday games start May 6th. PLEASE NOTE - the May 27th game, which is Memorial Day, is rescheduled for June 4th. I want to welcome the new Monday Bocce coordinator, Jane Saeger. Have a great year!

The pool season starts Memorial Day weekend. Our pool manager Dave Scarpa has been doing an excellent job getting it prepared for all of us to enjoy the summer. They are having a meeting on May 13th at 1:30 pm for pool monitors. If you are interested in becoming a pool monitor please go to the meeting.
