Dear Neighbors,
I would like to take some of your reading time today to remember Lore Hultz, Section 8 Trustee, who passed away in July. Lore, in her early years, was a presence at the front doors of every home in her section. She introduced herself and always asked how she could help her neighbors. She took the extra step in sending cards for birthdays and condolences. In her later years, she was physically unable to do these things, but she remained a guiding force at our trustee meetings. We thank Lore for her contribution to our community.
The Board of Trustees will be hosting an information session about the job of Trustee on August 18, 6:00 to 7:30 pm. Each homeowner has received a personal letter inviting him/her to attend. The board will provide a short presentation, then speak personally with those in attendance. The goal is to find homeowners living in Sections 1, 3, 6, and 8 who are interested in filling the now vacant Trustee positions in their sections. Homeowners from other sections are welcome to attend, as well. We will serve light refreshments.
Please check out our Upcoming 2022 Events in this issue. We can’t wait to meet you! Hope to see you there!
In anticipation of our Homeowners’ Meeting on August 8, I have included in this issue the text of the fence rule and regulation which was tabled at the May meeting. There has been some interest in revising the fence rule and regulation originally proposed. I have attached the new proposal. Please review the proposal in detail, so you can decide if you would like to provide input.
I hope you are enjoying your summer.
