Hello Friends and Neighbors! April showers bring may flowers. We shall see! If you forgot to push your clock ahead on March 13th of last month, then you have been arriving 1 hour earlier for everything for the past 19 days! Ha Ha!!
April 1st is April Fool’s Day and hopefully you can get by without being made a fool of! Tax Day is April 18th, get yours in on time.
I’d like to wish everyone who celebrates, a Happy and Blessed Easter, as well as a Happy Passover. April is also National Stress Awareness month, so put all your troubles aside and promise yourself a stress-free month of pampering and self-indulgence.
Election Day for trustee candidates is coming in June. Get to know the candidates and what they truly stand for. I’m proud of the fact I always kept the residents at the forefront of my mind when making decisions and sharing opinions on matters for the community. Let’s not go backwards and elect leaders who have more personal interests than community ones. Until next month- stay safe and healthy!

Spring is in the air! Thankfully, we are leaving the dark and challenging days of winter and the pandemic behind. Now we look forward to new beginnings, not just in our personal lives, but also in our clubhouse. Remember, April 1st is April Fool’s Day, April 15 this Passover and April 17th is Easter.
God Bless.
John Fay:
I want to wish our Jewish residents a very happy Passover and to our Christian residents a very happy Easter. As it was spoken about at our February meeting, we will be opening up the neighborhood watch which I will be running. I hope to have our meeting by May at the latest. Hope to see you at the meetings. Watch out for more information in the Southwind.

It’s April and hopefully the warmer weather is here to stay. One’s thoughts are on spring cleanup, both inside and outside. Planting of flowers (the deer love them), shrubs and such are in play. Organized team play on the various courts are practicing as activities around the clubhouse are coming alive. Please note that when utilizing the Bocce Court some of the boards are loose, so please use caution when playing. The boards will be repaired shortly. The pool will be drained and serviced for the upcoming season. Please feel free to participate in the many activities the clubs have planned for our membership. Enjoy!
Fran Hurley:
Happy Spring! I'm still getting used to the time change. April is known for its beautiful spring weather. It is a time of planting and spring cleaning. If you love beautiful spring weather and beautiful flowers found in April, you have Mother Nature to thank.
Interesting facts about the month of April:
Earth Day is celebrated every April 22nd and this year National Arbor Day is celebrated on April 30th. The April full pink moon will rise on Monday April 26th. This type of full moon is one of two super moons this year.
Have a Happy Easter and Passover.
