Trustee's Corner - July 2020

Gail Ziemski:
Well here we are approaching July 4th, Independence Day. This month as I walked or drove around our community, I noticed just how many American flags where proudly flying. Yet it made me sad to see them lowered due to Covid-19. Hopefully, soon we will be getting back to our normal lives and put all this behind us. I look forward to seeing Old Glory flying high and proud once again. Since last month, I stopped and met so many residents who were very willing to let me take up some of their time and pose for a picture. Like I promised, I will make my stops asking some of you to pose for a picture just to say “hello”. It has been a pleasure meeting so many of you over the past few months. Until next month, stay well hope to see you soon.
Joe Bushey:
The power washing and staining of the pool deck will begin very shortly. We were delayed in doing this as we were hampered by damp and cold weather conditions, as well as heavy pollen residue.
George Mason:
As you all know, all our outside events are on hold right now until we get the guidelines from both the State and CDC on how we can reopen these events.  We will keep you apprised once we get these guidelines.  Be patient and, hopefully, we will be able to resume our outdoor activities once again.
Betty Higgins:
As you all know, Count Basie cancelled all shows due to the Coronavirus and we were unable to see the John Tarangelo and Edward Twins show in March.  If you would like to get your deposit refunded, please call me at 732-718-0638 and I will arrange to meet you in the clubhouse parking lot.
