Wrangle Brook Community Garden is a project sponsored by the Unitarian Universalist Ocean County Congregation, in cooperation with Berkeley Township. Located on the edge of Wrangle Brook and bordered by River Terrace in Toms River and Southhampton Drive in Berkeley Township, this community garden is beginning to take form. Membership is offered to those who wish to plant vegetables for themselves and their families and/or who wish to work in the “Common Ground” section raising vegetables for distribution to food banks.

GARDEN TIPS FOR MAY......
• Plant summer blooming annuals after last frost date. Usually May 15th.
• Plant summer flowering bulbs: lilies, canna, dahlias, etc.
• Plant deciduous trees and shrubs.
• Accustom houseplants to outdoor during the day.
