SEPTEMBER UPDATE

We hope everyone enjoyed their summer! Rest those legs, arms and backs for the 2018-2019 Bowling League is soon starting up on August 29th. We are looking forward to seeing you in August. For those who will not be bowling this season, we will miss you. For those who are new, we welcome you and look forward to some great bowling and camaraderie.

We are looking forward to seeing you in August. For those who will not be bowling this season, we will miss you. For those who are new, we welcome you and look forward to some great bowling and camaraderie.

JULY UPDATE

The 2017-2018 Bowling League is over for the season. It has been an exciting bowling season with many twists and turns, whether it was an injury, the need to drop out for personal reasons or a new bowler joining the league in the middle of the season.
 
The final stats are as follows:
 
Week 35: For the men: Ron Penn bowled a 218, Rocco Marotti bowled a 212, and Jim Lepley bowled a 197. For the women: Bea Humphries bowled a 165 and Delores VanSplinter bowled a 162.
 
Nice final bowling to everyone!
 
The Bowling Banquet was held on May 30, 2018 at the Clarion. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all who attended. During dessert awards were handed out. They are as follows:

MAY UPDATE

The 2017-2018 Bowling League is coming to a close. With just one week to go, bowlers will try to up their personal scores as well as move their team into a top position.
 
The final wrap up for this season will appear in the July Sentinel. See everyone at the Banquet.
 
Week 31: For the men: Rocco Marotti bowled a 222, Vic D’Onofrio bowled a 201, and Jim Lepley bowled a 192. For the women: Rose Macalle bowled a 187, Bea Humphries bowled a 173, Betty O’Brien bowled a 165.
 
Week 32: For the men: Jim Lepley bowled a 217, Ron Penn bowled a 214 and Rocco Marotti bowled a 213. For the women: Helena Haritonoff bowled a 184, Sue Rabb bowled a 176.
 
Week 33: For the men: Jim Lepley bowled a 209, Rocco Marotti bowled a 195, Ken Schubert bowled a 190. For the women: Ruth Happ bowled a 195, Dot Simon bowled a 183.
 
Week 34: For the men: Rocco Marotti bowled a 203, Jim Lepley bowled a 202, and Ken Schubert bowled a 193. For the women: Ruth Happ bowled a 187, Linda Bross bowled a 159.

Week 27: For the men: Ed Wacha bowled a 250, Jim Lepley bowled a 246 and Rocco Marotti bowled a 227. For the women: Ruth Happ bowled a 168, Helena Haritonoff bowled a 160 and Linda Bross bowled a 157.
 
Week 28: For the men: Jim Lepley bowled a 268, Ken Schubert bowled a 224, George Bernatt bowled a 218. For the women: Dolores Van Splinter bowled a 178, Barbara Berkemeyer bowled a 161, and Linda Heywood bowled a 160.
 
Week 29: For the men: Ken Schubert bowled a 210, Jim Lepley bowled a 198, and Rocco Marotti bowled a 185. For the women: Ruth Happ bowled a 174, Rose Macalle bowled a 166.

Week 17: For the men: Ken Schubert bowled a 225, Ron Penn bowled a 224, and Rocco Marotti bowled a 192. For the women: Linda Bross bowled a 160, Dolores VanSplinter bowled a 154 and Janet Della Torre bowled a 152.
 
Week 18: For the men: Jim Lepley bowled a 236, Rocco Marotti bowled a 233 and Ken Schubert bowled a 205. For the women: Ruth Happ bowled a 149, Pete Humphries bowled a 146 and Dot Simon bowled a 145.
 
Week 19: For the men: Jim Lepley bowled a 236, Ron Penn bowled a 208, Rocco Marotti bowled a 187. For the women: Dot Simon bowled a 180, Dolores VanSplinter bowled a176, and Linda Bross bowled a 174.
 
Week 20: For the men: Jim Lepley bowled a 213, Rocco Marotti bowled a 192, and Vic D’Onofrio bowled a 191. For the women: Ricki Minix bowled a 177, Linda Bross bowled a 166, and Sue Rabb bowled a 161.

The 2017-2018 Bowling League is rolling strikes, spares and yes, gutter balls. Some bowlers are dropping from the league due to injuries. We will see what 2018 brings to finish out this season.

Week 14: For the men: Jim Lepley bowled a 232, Rocco Marotti bowled a 203, and Ken Schubert bowled a 191. For the women: Marilyn Cresho bowled a 168, Sue Rabb bowled a 156 and Joyce Dinkey bowled a 152.

Week 15: For the men: Jim Lepley bowled a 238, Ron Penn bowled a 221 and Dennis Malinowski bowled a 212. For the women: Linda Haywood bowled a 173, Cathy Marotti bowled a 161 and Rose Macalle bowled a 158.

DECEMBER UPDATE

The 2017-2018 Bowling League is rolling strikes, spares and yes, gutter balls. Some bowlers are dropping from the league due to injuries.. Week 7 is shaking things up a bit. For the men, Dennis Malinowski bowled a 204, Rocco Marotti bowled a 202, and Vic D’Onofrio bowled a 193.( Vic waited to bowl a high game after I left the team).. The women are not far behind. Lorraine Leming bowled a 160, Delores VanSplinter bowled a 154 and Janet Della Torre bowled a 154.


Week 8 is heating up. Rocco Marotti bowled a 236 (way to go Rocco), Jim Lepley bowled a 222 and Gus Leming bowled a 202. The ladies are holding on. Delores VanSplinter bowled a 178, Linda Bross bowled a 157 and Joyce Dinkey bowled a 147.


Week 9 has the men staying strong. Jim Lepley bowled a 225, George Bernatt bowled a 202 and Rocco Marotti bowled a 183. For the women, Ruth Happ bowled a165, Mary Hicks bowled a156 and Lorraine Leming bowled a 152.


Week 10 looks like we have some consistency with the men. Jim Lepley bowled a 207, Jack Easson bowled a 202 and Rocco Marotti bowled a 191. For the women we have Pete Humphries bowled a 178, Betty O’Brien bowled a 157 and Bea Humphries bowled a 155.


Week 11 is showing a bounce back. Rocco Marotti bowled a 257, Jim Lepley bowled a 238 and Ron Penn bowled a 232. And the women are rolling along while picking up their scores. Mary Hicks bowled a 222, Linda Bross bowled a 187 and Ruth Happ a 182.
