Dec 2018

From the President's Desk - January 2019

Hard to believe it’s 2019 already.  The older I get, the faster the time goes.
I’m looking forward to serving my fifth year on the Board of Directors of Holiday City at Berkeley.

We have many projects to tackle this year, the most important being the resurfacing of the parking lots, and the rebuilding of the curbs.  We still haven’t had the bids sent out, but as soon as that happens, we will be meeting with prospective contractors, qualified to do the job.

We have two shows booked already for your entertainment pleasure.  We have the Jersey Tenors booked to come back in April to perform their all new show, “Let’s Make America Guido Again”.  We also have Plaza Professional Productions booked to come back in June to perform the Broadway play, “Mame.”  You may remember that they were here last year to perform “Funny Girl”.  In August, we have tentatively scheduled “Elvis” to perform for us.  He puts on a live show with two female singers and a 10 piece orchestra.  So, all in all, some good things to look forward to.

I look forward to the opportunity to serve this community again.  Hopefully, we can continue the forward direction that we have started.

We are the envy of the other communities.  Let’s make Holiday City at Berkeley the best adult community in New Jersey.

Hope to see you at the January shareowner’s meeting.  The meeting will be held at 1PM on January 2nd.  Cake and coffee will be served at noon.
