On February 10, 2025, Mayor Bacchione, Commissioner Jennifer Bacchione, and Deputy Director Frank Sadeghi attended a Home Dedication Ceremony in Manitou Park for Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity. This marks the 24th home built.

Our D.A.R.E. graduation took place on February 20th, 2025, at BTES. Officer Mikki Baranyay is responsible for this program for our students. The Drug Abuse Resistance Education program educates our students and gives them the tools they need to say no to drugs, alcohol and tobacco.

Mayor Bacchione and Ocean County Commissioner, Jennifer Bacchione attended Berkeley Township Elementary School for, “Read Across America Day!” on March 3, 2025. We are hoping the love of reading encourages our students to become lifelong readers.

Reminder: Berkeley Township- Celebrating Our Sesquicentennial Anniversary 2025
Berkeley Township is celebrating our 150th Anniversary this year. The Township was officially incorporated on March 31, 1875. We will be posting events throughout the year.
We will be kicking off this celebration on March 29, 2025, at Veterans Park, 489 Forest Hills Parkway, Bayville, NJ 08721. It will be from 3:00PM until 7:00PM.
There will be Iceless Ice skating, food trucks, DJ Music, Inflatables and more. There will be a $10 wristband fee that will be for Unlimited skating and inflatables. We hope to see you there!
